Fe Ruina is married, with two children. She runs a general store in the village of Tabid, Ozamiz City.
Aside from this, she has also engaged with her Video K business to make a living. To improve her business, she borrowed PHP 10,000 from GDMPC microcredit to repair her Video K machine for a better entertainment service.
She hopes to expand her business using the profit she earns from this loan and to be able to sent her children to school and finish their studies.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
