Gloria has been the owner of Atlas World Travel since the inception of the agency. In addition to setting the standards and overseeing the general operation, she has been involved in “The Patrons of the Arts”, both as fundraising chairperson and president – a very important part of the Monroe Township community.
During the height of a busy season when Hurricane Sandy hit, the travel agency was forced to close down for a two-week period. Although there was no new revenue produced during that time frame, all employees were paid full salary.
The loan given to Gloria will be used to recover from some of the losses realized during Super Storm Sandy. It will enable her to expand her business by using this money to secure cruise space to market to prospective clients.
