The communal bank Angeles de Villa Adela II is starting its third cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of Villa Adela regional office. It comprises nine members and Juana is the President of its governing board. The members of this communal bank run a variety of businesses, including: selling food, sewing sweaters, sewing skirts, selling honey, selling sheep, selling provisions, bus assistant, selling dishes, a car repair shop.

The loan they are taking out will benefit the small microentrepreneurs in Juana's group. She says she has been a member of Pro Mujer for one year. She joined when she came to visit the regional office to find out about the services they provide. She currently has a business sewing skirts. She started her business several years ago when she learned the sewing skills from her cousins, who are in the same business.

She will use the loan she is taking out now to increase capital by purchasing fabric, which she will buy from the wholesale shops in the city of El Alto. After finishing her products she will sell them to order. This work allows her to generate resources to support her household as much as possible, since she is married and has four children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she tells us she likes the lending services we provide.

La A.C. “ANGELES DE VILLA ADELA II” iniciará el tercer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Villa Adela, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Juana es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de comida, costura de chompas, costura de polleras, venta de miel, venta de ovejas, venta de víveres, ayudante de nimibus, venta de vajillas, taller mecánico.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Juana es integrante, ella indica que hace un año que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando cuando vino a visitar al Centro Focal y averiguar a cerca de los servicios que se realizan. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de costura de polleras; este negocio lo emprendió hace varios años atrás, al aprender la técnica de costura de sus primos que tienen el mismo negocio.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de telas) que adquirirá de las tiendas mayoristas de la ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará a pedido del cliente. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es casada y tiene cuatro hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta los servicios crediticios que tenemos.
