Hakob is a young, private entrepreneur from Yerevan city. His family consists of his parents, his sister and his brother.
Hakob is the only breadwinner of the family. He runs a retail shop of sunglasses and different accessories. The assortment of goods he sells in the store is not that big. Hakob currently needs to expand it a bit in order for his small business to be competitive and to function in a sustainable way.
Hakob needs a loan of USD 1,500 to purchase accessories and sunglasses to resell in his store. As this is Hakob’s first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative of Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who did not have access to credit products before because they have no credit history.
Hakob will be very thankful to the lenders for their good will in supporting him to develop his small business.
