Ran is 56 years old, widowed, and has one child. She lives in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been cultivating rice and raising animals for more than 10 years, earning approximately $4 a day. Her child is an English teacher who earns $5 a day.
Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Ran is requesting a loan for $900, which she will use to purchase a motorbike for commuting.
