Chanthol is 34 years old. She is married and lives with three children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia.
She has been cultivating rice and fattening up animals for more than ten years, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband purchases cattle to resell and earns about $8 per day.
To improve her family’s finances, Chanthol is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase cattle to resell. This money will help her husband obtain enough funds to expand his business and generate more income for the family.
In the future, she would like to add more capital to expand the business and help her children earn higher education. Moreover, she wants to build a fence around her house to improve her family’s security.
