Maria Alejandra
Maria is married and the mother of two children. She is dedicated to fulfilling one of her greatest dreams, to finish her house. She works for a private company and her husband supports her in all decisions, as the priority for both of them is their children.

Due to various circumstances they haven't been able to put together at one time the money to buy the materials needed, so they have relied on us for a loan and this way will buy rebar, cement, sand, gravel, purlins, sheet metal roofing, etc.

With this they will able to practically complete it, as they already have the cement blocks, and they hope to continue having the support that Afodenic and Kiva have offered them.

About Housing Loans

Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
