Dioscora is a widow from the town of Talibon, Bohol. She engages in a pottery-making business. She makes pots made of clay and a mix of cement. Her business started 10 years ago. Aside from pottery making, she runs a sari-sari (variety) store. She sells various items, like canned goods, condiments, eggs, sugar and soap. She is asking for a loan to buy more dry goods, like soft drinks, to sell.
In the future, she hopes to expand both her businesses and increase profitability for a sustainable livelihood.
