Josephine is married with three children. They live in Lower Tiparak, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur. Her husband is a farmer, planting rice to earn a living. She helps him manage their farm. She borrowed a loan of 10,000 PHP from GDMPC because the farm needs fertilizer. She always finds ways to improve their farm, and the profit will be used to improve their living in the future.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
