Digna is a primary school teacher and always worrying about people's education. She is married and is giving her husband the necessary support to help him to develop. Digna has a problem with her home, which is in a bad state. So she has come to Ceprodel to apply for a loan and to do necessary work on the house. She will use the loan to buy zinc, purlins, cements, and to pay labourers. With this work she will be able to improve her family's living conditions.
Digna es una señora de profesión maestra de educación primaria, preocupada por la enseñanza de los demás, casada con una persona a su cargo a quien le está dando el apoyo necesario para su desarrollo, esta señora presenta un problema en su vivienda la cual está en mal estado, presentándose a ceprodel para solicitar un financiamiento y realizar la obra que tanto necesita, ya que el mismo sería utilizado en la compra de Zinc, Perlin, Cemento y Mano de Obra. Y de esa manera mejorar las condiciones de vida de la familia.
This loan is administered by Centro de Promocion del Desarrollo Local (CEPRODEL), one of Kiva’s larger partners in Central America. Founded in 1991 and based in Managua, Nicaragua, CEPRODEL specializes in the development and funding of housing cooperatives for traditionally marginalized communities, the provision of microfinance services to small businesses, and the promotion of innovative renewable energy projects. In addition, unlike many microfinance institutions in the area that have chosen to avoid the rural areas of the country due to the increased financial risk, CEPRODEL provides financial services to numerous clients in the agriculture and livestock industry. Supporting a borrower through CEPRODEL means contributing to the promotion and sustainability of this important work in Nicaragua.
