Don Demetrio proviene de una familia que netamente se dedica a la fabricación y venta de artesanías, él empezó desde muy temprana edad a salir con su padre a vender los productos que ellos mismos fabrican, en poco tiempo logró juntar un poco de capital para empezar a comprar más variedad de artículos y llevar a vender por la zona de Caacupé donde ya tiene una buena clientela formada. Gracias a su trabajo y esfuerzo pudo comprarse una motocicleta la cual lo utiliza para realizar sus ventas y mantener la buena clientela.
