Mwanasha is a very hard-working woman who wishes to get ahead through her own efforts and wants her working life to be much more successful. She is single and lives with her one child who goes to school.
Mwanasha has a business offering M-pesa services (mobile money transfer), a business which she has run for two years. In addition, she also runs a cloth business.
At present, Mwanasha needs to offer her customers better services. For that reason, she is requesting a loan through Yehu, to invest in the addition of electronic credits to sell in her M-pesa business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
