Alphonce is 41 years old and married with 4 children. He sells cereals in Kangundo town; he has been in this business for 19 years now and it has been profitable. This is his sixth loan term and he paid his previous loans successfully. He will use this loan to buy more cereals to sell. These include maize and beans. This will enable him have more stock and thereby meet his clients' demands as well as make more income. He will use the anticipated income to pay school fees for his children. In the future, Alphonce hopes to expand his cereals shop by stocking more maize, beans, green grams and rice. He also plans to educate his children to tertiary level.
