Yolly runs a general store and a cafeteria in a village located in Ozamiz City. He is married and has three children. He has been doing this business for more than two years in order to make a living.
Yolly joined GDMPC in 2012 and recently borrowed a loan of 35,000 PHP to buy grocery goods for resale and raw ingredients for his cafeteria. His determination makes him worked punctually and diligently in order to improve his business and the general living situation of his family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
