Sambath
Sambath is 43 years old. She is married and resides with her five children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been cultivating rice and fattening up animals for more than ten years, earning approximately $1 per day. Her husband is a soldier who earns about $4 daily. Two of her children are garment workers. They earn about $11 each day. Due to lack of funds, Sambath is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase construction materials to build a bathroom and a kitchen. This money will help her improve the hygiene of her family's living conditions. In the future, she would like to expand her farming business and help her children access higher education.
