Esther’s married and mother of five children who live with her and her husband and help with the various daily chores like pruning, weeding, fertilizing, applying manure, leaf fertilizer, etc. that need to be done to maintain, better protect and keep secure the coffee crop. She’s 42-years-old and completed primary school. She was able to complete it thanks to her parents’ financial and moral support. She’s been in this line of work for 10 years having learned it from training courses she got at an institution so that they would be able to crow and harvest coffee. The land they work as a family was acquired with much effort and sacrifice and is located 5 minutes away from home; they reach it on foot and they work there by themselves as a family.

Her goal is to be able to become the best coffee producer in the zone improving its quality and implementing methods that will reduce production costs and produce an attractive coffee bean at a good price so that it can be exported from the country.

As a mother, to support her children’s schooling preparing them to become better persons in life, better men and women who won’t go through the same situation she did in her youth. This is why today she’s asking for a loan to buy agricultural supplies like manure, leaf fertilizer and coffee formula that will yield more and better protection for her crops so that harvest will be good.

Doña Ester es una mujer casada y madre de 5 hijos los cuales viven con ella y su esposo y contribuyen en las diferentes labores que diariamente se realizan en el mantenimiento de sus cultivos de café como; poda, limpieza, aplicación de fertilizantes, abono, foliares, etc. que dan una mayor protección y seguridad a sus cultivos de café. Ella tiene una edad de 42 años y un grado de educación primaria completo el cual pudo cursar gracias al apoyo financiero y moral por parte de sus padres. Ella tiene 10 años de dedicarse a este rubro el cual aprendió por medio de una capacitación que recibió por medio de una institución para que ellos pudiesen llevar a cabo la siembra y cultivo de café. La tierra que en familia trabajan es propia adquirida con gran esfuerzo y sacrificio la cual está ubicada a 5 minutos de camino de su casa de habitación al cual se trasladan a pie involucrándose en la misma solo ellos como familia.

Sus metas son las de poder ser la mejor productora de café de la zona mejorando la calidad, implementando métodos que lleven a la disminución de costos de mantenimiento y produciendo un grano de café atractivo y a buen precio de tal manera que pueda ser exportado del país. Como madre apoyar a sus hijos en la educación preparándolos para que sean mejores personas en la vida, mejores hombres y mujeres y que no pasen por la misma situación que ella en su juventud. Por lo que hoy en día ha solicitado un financiamiento para la compra de insumos agrícolas como abono, foliares, formula cafetalera que den una mejor y mayor protección a sus cultivos para obtener una buena cosecha.
