The A.C. “UNIFICADA II” will start their first phase with Pro Mujer at the Senkata Focal Center. It is made up of eight members and is governed by a board of directors and Felicidad is the President.

There are several different businesses among the community association members. Some of the businesses are: neighborhood store, blanket maker, selling plastic objects, butcher, popcorn vendor, valet and grocery store.

The loan will help the small business owner members such as Felicidad. She joined Pro Mujer a year ago. She joined through the invite of a friend who was a member of the institution.

Currently she owns a neighborhood store. She tells that her and her husband started the business when they noticed the needs of their neighbors.

They started the business to generate new income.

The loan will be used to increase capital (buy oil, sugar, beans and rice) that they will buy at traditional fairs, wholesale and then sell it in their store.

This type of work allows her to create an income to help support her family since she is married and has seven children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responds that she likes the loan and the health area.

La A.C. “UNIFICADA II” iniciará el primer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Senkata, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Felicidad es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: tienda de barrio, producción de mantillas, venta de objetos de plásticos, carnicería, venta de pipocas, atención de parqueo, tienda de abarrotes.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Felicidad es integrante, ella indica que hace un año que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio tienda de barrio; da a conocer que este negocio lo instalaron ella y su esposo al observar la necesidad de sus vecinos, implementaron este negocio ya que ellos querían generar nuevos ingresos.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de aceite, azúcar, fideo, arroz) que adquirirá de las ferias tradicionales, por mayor, y posteriormente lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener a su familia, ya que ella es casada y tiene siete hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el crédito y el área de salud.
