Felipa is a member of the Pura Vida Communal Bank. She is separated, 36 years old and has two children. Felipa buys used car tires that she uses to make ojotas (sandals) that are worn by the local campesinos. She works in the city of Lima in a rented locale and has people to help her. Sometimes the tires in good condition are retreaded in order to sell them later to be reused. Also, Felipa sells clothing that she buys in the city of Lima.



Felipa needs a loan for 1,750 soles – money that will be used to purchase more second-hand tires.



She dreams of having her own home in Lima, helping her children get ahead so they can be professionals and having a store to sell footwear materials.

Felipa es separada, tiene 36 años y 2 hijos, Felipa compra neumáticos usados de carros con los cuales fabrica ojotas (sandalias elaboradas de neumáticos usados de carro) que son utilizadas por los campesinos de la zona, actividad que realiza en la ciudad de Lima en un local alquilado para lo cual cuenta con operadores, en algunas oportunidades los neumáticos en buenas condiciones los hace reencauchar para luego comercializarlos como neumáticos de segunda. Además Felipa vende ropa que compra en la ciudad de Lima.


Felipa necesita un préstamo de 1750 soles, dinero que será invertido en la compra de un lote de llantas de segunda.


Felipa sueña con tener casa propia en la ciudad de Lima, Ayacucho, sacar adelante a sus hijos para que sean profesionales, tener una tienda de materiales de calzado.
