It was very difficult for her father to support her because he had several children. She started working while very young helping her father work his parcel. With much sacrifice she bought a wood house. She worked doing all kinds of things and did not have the opportunity to continue in school because her father couldn’t afford to pay for her schooling. So she worked and studied until she was able to finish secondary school and gradually she became independent. She currently has a fruit stand and also works in agriculture growing manioc on her father’s land.
Dionicia’s a responsible, very hardworking woman whose dream is to continue growing and to build a house that’s better than the one she has now for she currently just lives in a small wood house.
