Maria Neria
View original language description ↓
María Neria and her family moved to Reynosa dreaming of a better future, as in their own region employment opportunities were scarce. Upon arriving in Reynosa, her husband started looking for a job and found one. As time went on, they began to save so they would have some money available for any situation that arose.

Later her husband was laid off and with their savings, she started her own food business so that they could keep up with their household expenses. Little by little she increased her supply and variety of food and up to now things have gone well.

She is currently requesting a loan for US $500, which will be repaid in 6 month, to buy more supplies, and she hopes that with Kiva´s support she will receive the loan.
