Abegail is a 34-year-old woman from Bien Unido, Bohol. She is married and has two children, ages 8 and 11. She started a fishing business ten years ago, so that she could help support her family. She works with her husband, and this is their main source of livelihood.
She is asking for a loan of 8,000 PHP. She will use the loan to buy plywood for boat repair, and pay for engine. Once these materials are available, she can be assured of better productivity in her business. Her income will provide food and school fees for her children. In the future, she hopes to have another business so that she can increase her profits for her family.
