Marta es una señora casada de 38 años de edad, vive junto a sus 5 hijos quienes son 2 hombres y 3 mujeres en el Sector Xeabaj, Aldea Tzununa, Santa Cruz La Laguna, Sololá.

Ella se dedica a la agricultura cultivando café a unos metros de su vivienda. Eligio esta actividad porque es donde obtiene la mayor parte de sus ingresos que le han ayudado a salir adelante junto a su familia en cuanto a lo económico.
Comenta que el clima de Santa Cruz La Laguna es muy cálido es por ello que su cultivo es bastante productivo, por lo que ahora está solicitando un préstamo de Q 5,000.00 para la compra de pilones de café que servirán para cosecharlo y así mejorar sus ingresos y ganancias.
Su sueño es generar más ganancias para poder sacar adelante a sus hijos en los estudios y mejorar las condiciones de vida de su familia.
