Eseza is married with two children, and both her children go to school. She doesn’t take care of additional family members. She has a business of a beauty salon and has been in this business for eight years. She has applied for a loan of 2,500,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more boxes of cream relaxers, boxes of Vaseline, weaves, braids and a hand dryer. She generates additional income through selling used and new ladies shoes. She works from home seven days out of every week and sells on a retail basis. Her major business challenges include defaulters, the ever increasing prices of cosmetics in Uganda, which affects her customer base, and on and off electricity. She is aspiring of owning a fully stocked beauty salon and also to build her business premises. She resides in the family house, and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses includes school fees and paying for utility bills.
