Specioza is married with six children and all her children go to school. She doesn’t take care of additional family members. She has a business of poultry farming and has been in this business for 10 years. She has applied for a loan of 3,000,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more bags of chicken feed, chicks, and chicken vaccines. She works from home six days out of every week and sells to all categories of people on retail and wholesale basis. She generates additional income from rental rooms. Her major business challenge includes thieves and seasonality. She aspires to own a big poultry farm and also to build more rental rooms. She resides in the family house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees, paying for utility bills and feeding the family.
