Nazim is a milkman by profession and sells milk in his community. He has been selling milk since 1993; now he is very expert and experienced about his profession. He is very expert in getting milk from a buffalo; he gets milk from all his buffaloes in no time. He has many buffaloes; this is the reason he has to do very hard work to feed them. Every day, he takes his buffaloes to the pasture for grazing and gives them baths in the stream. He has to stay the whole day with his buffaloes due to fear of theft. He does not have much time for his family members. Nazim wants to appoint an assistant to look after his cattle, but he does not earn enough profit to afford his salary.
Nazim is taking a second loan, and he has been investing his previous loan in the same business. With the help of last loan, he has purchased a buffalo and has been benefited from that buffalo. He still wants to establish his business and wants to buy another buffalo so that he could increase his monthly income and could appoint an assistant so that he could spend some time with his family.
Therefore, Nazim requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan. Nazim hopes that he would be able to buy a buffalo and he will succeed in increasing his monthly income as well.
