Anthony
Anthony has owned Love Your Body for more than a decade in San Antonio, Texas. Originally from Emory, Texas, just east of Dallas, Anthony moved to San Antonio and began his retail business.

Anthony sells bath and body products made from the best ingredients, which ensure a silky smooth feel after using them. One particular lotion is made from African shea butter, which is derived from the nut of the African shea tree. The rich fatty acid is crucial to rejuvenating and moisturizing the skin. Shea butter provides all the essential vitamins needed to make skin feel and look smoother and softer.

Anthony offers many other bath and body products and sets up shop at a local market on the south side of San Antonio. He was able to continue selling his products with the help from Accion Texas Inc., America’s largest microlender dedicated to helping small business owners and entrepreneurs. He discovered Accion while reading the local newspaper. He inquired about applying for a loan and received an approval shortly after completing the loan application process.

The Accion loan allowed Anthony to purchase additional product to sell, retain his one full-time employee, and begin taking steps to hire an additional part-time employee, too. Anthony continues to sell at the local market in San Antonio and grow his business.
