Joycee is 30 years old and lives in Compound #3 with her husband and three children; only two of her children are in school. Her children are between the ages of 2 and 11. She says she stopped her education in the 12th grade. For four years now she has been selling plantains, bananas, bitter-balls, peppers, and oil in the local market, and she doesn’t have enough income to buy more stock for her business. She spends ten hours a day, six days per week selling these goods. Her plans are to educate her children and build a house.
