Her husband is a mechanic by profession and he repairs cars and tractors. In this area, most of the people use tractors for harvesting and cultivation in the field. Their house is situated in a rural area and people mostly do cultivation of different crops. They use tractors for multi-purposes and this is the reason there is a lot of demand for a tractor mechanic. Due to a lot of demand for his services, he always keeps busy troubleshooting the tractors.
He has been running this business for many years and his tools have depreciated now. Her husband wants to replace all the depreciated tools but does not have a sufficient amount because he recently constructed his house and all savings have been spent on construction. Therefore, Asia requested a loan for her husband so that he could become empowered to buy new tools for his repairing services.
Asia is very happy after taking this loan and says thanks to Kiva and to its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
