This is Florencia, 60, a resident of Silang, Cavite, Philippines. She is married to Macario, a farmer, and is a mother to her children. She, together with her husband, manages their own household while operating a business. At this time, she is working hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses.

Florencia operates a vegetable farm. She grows vegetables and other fruits on their farm located in Cavite. It is in the high lands where it is suited to grow vegetables and other fruits. She sells her product to market and fruit stores that she regularly supplies and to the local community. She earns a minimum of PHP 1000 in sales every week.

To help her continue operations of her business, Florencia is requesting a PHP 15,000 loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy fertilizer and farm inputs for her business. Part of the loan will go to the maintenance of her farm.

Florencia hopes that her business will continue to expand and dreams that her child will finish his studies. She meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
