Meet 25-year-old Memunatu from Waterloo, in the eastern area of Freetown. She is married with one child who is 5 years old. In 2011, Memunatu established her medical drugs business. She began her business because she wanted to create her own source of income to contribute to taking care of her family. She works at the business from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm, 7 days per week. She says that the main challenges to her business are price inflation and the high cost of transportation.
Memunatu requires a loan in order to purchase a variety of medical drugs to expand her business. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to change her status of living and increase her business. In the future, Memunatu plans to expand her business more. She thanks you for your support.
