Alcan
Alcan is 57 years old. He has a big family and he is father of seven children. He is a farmer and has been raising seasonal fruits and vegetables for the last 20 years. During these years, Alcan gained enough skills and experience to run the business. He chose this crop business because it is profitable and fresh fruits and vegetables are in high demand.

People use fresh vegetables every day and consider them healthy. Many national dishes are made of vegetables, like pilau and dolma. Fresh fruits are served on every table in Azerbaijan and families also make a fresh punch. He usually sells his crop in the central bazaar. His monthly income is 140 AZN.

As these products are in high demand, Alcan wants to expand his business and produce more fruits and vegetables to meet market demand. For this purpose he applied for a loan of 2,000 AZN. He will buy new garden tools, seeds and fertilizers. This will be his seventh loan and he has a good client history.

By funding this loan, you are creating opportunities and supporting economic development in extremely underserved communities.
