Kumomoru is 35 years old, married to Eunice and a father of four. His children are nine, five, three, and one years old. He is a livestock trader in Lower Melili area of Narok County, Kenya. He has been running the business for the past six years, making a monthly income of KES 20,000. He learned about KADET from fellow farmers in his area.
He has borrowed a third loan of KES 80,000 from KADET after successfully paying of his previous loans. Kumomoru intends to purchase more livestock for resale, as well as to diversify into crop farming. The anticipated profit will be reinvested to boost business, as well as used to pay school fees for his children. His dream is to expand his farming business and attain financial stability.
