Mwanahai is married and has eight children, one of whom attends school and the rest are adults. For the past two years, she has operated a timber selling business, selling to her neighbors and passersby.
Mwanahai is requesting a loan from Yehu for 50,000 KES, which she will use to purchase more timber to sell. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food. Mwanahai dreams of establishing a wholesale shop in the future.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
