Brenda
Brenda is a single young woman of 18 years. She currently lives with her parents in the Caserío Central, Aldea Los Encuentros, Sololá, Sololá.

She currently has a tortillería in her father's shop. She chose this activity because in this way she can contribute to her family's finances. In the morning she works at the tortillería, and she studies in the afternoon, which she does with the goal to better herself so she can help her family.

She has run this business for 5 years, and every day there is greater demand. It is because of this that she is asking for a loan of Q 5,000 to buy a larger stove, now that she cannot keep up tortilla preparation with the other. Her goal is to generate more earnings across the board so she may continue studying and graduate from school to obtain better opportunities in life.
