Klodiana wants to start up her own little clothing repair and alterations services activity and she is seeking lenders' generosity to achieve her goal.
“I had been thinking this for a while, yet, I knew that I was not eligible for any loans due to my economical condition. When I was told from the loan officers of VisionFund Albania, that Kiva had made possible such a loan, I got really happy. I am in my early 30s and having young children, operating the activity from home is a good opportunity for me and the kids. There is no one at the moment offering such services in our village, so this would work in my favor. Thus, I will be very appreciative to all those good people who will consider helping me out financially,” Klodiana said, beaming.

About VisionFund Albania
VisionFund Albania is a micro-finance subsidiary of child hunger nonprofit World Vision International. Striving to improve child welfare, the organization offers a variety of loan products designed for rural, traditionally underserved clients and their families. These products include agriculture, business and household improvement loans, as well as "integration loans" targeted to help the poorest, most vulnerable Albanian households acquire value chain resources.
While VFA is focused on the empowerment of the poor overall, it pays special attention to women. About 60% of loans to entrepreneurs on Kiva go to women.
