Mauricio dreams of becoming a professional. To achieve his goal, Mauricio has enrolled in the Universidad Mayor De San Simon. He plans on graduating in June, 2014 but without a loan from Vittana, he fears that he will need to defer his graduation.
With this loan, Mauricio plans on spending the money towards purchasing his textbooks. As an added expense, textbooks are often not bought to save money. With them Mauricio hopes to be able to better understand his subjects. In addition to his responsibilities at school, Mauricio currently works 30 hours a week and earns $9 a day. With a degree in business he expects to earn $15 a day.
With two older siblings, Mauricio is unsure how he will be able to afford his tuition fees on his own without the assistance of a Vittana Loan. Mauricio's father's salary from his job as a lawyer is the family's primary source of income. Mauricio hopes to be able to contribute towards his family's income in the near future.
