Veronicah is 43 years old and comes from Olkalou. She is not married but she has two children aged 16 and 10 years who are in school.
She is a farmer and she has been in this sector for the past five years. She has applied for a loan of Kshs. 60,000 from Kadet Ltd, her fourth loan, and her intention is to use it in buying a heifer and some herbicides to control weeds in her farm for increased yields.
Her monthly income right now is Ksh. 10,000 and her plan is to use the anticipated profits from her expanded business for repaying her loan and to also pay school fees for her children. Her hopes and dreams are that in future she will have a better, improved life than she has now.
