Abel is 55 years old, from Olkalou. He is married to Beth, who runs a hotel and they have three children, aged 16, 13, and 10 years old.
He is in the business of livestock sales which he has been running for the past eight years.
He has applied for his fourth loan from Kenya Agency for Development of Enterprise and Technology (KADET), in the amount of KES 100,000, to enable him to buy more sheep.
Abel's monthly income right now is KES 50,000 and the anticipated profit from the expanded business will be used for paying back the loan and for educating his children.
His hope and dream for the future is to upgrade his living standards.
