Gayane is from Akner village where she lives with her husband and two little children (her daughter is in the photo). Gayane's husband works at a local company. Gayane does not work, as she has to take care of her children, but she has been involved in the farming business for 5 years. Gayane owns a plot of land where she cultivates haricot, potato, onion, and garlic. She sells the gathered harvest to local retailers who come and take the harvest from her house. As there are only a few tractors in the whole community, locals have to rent it from tractor owners in order to organize the cultivation process. Gayane also needs to rent a tractor to start autumn sowing. For doing this she needs to purchase fuel and, unfortunately, she has insufficient funds.
This hard working woman with good credit history requests 3,000 USD to pay for fuel and fertilizer, which is very important for the successful cultivation of the land. Gayane plans to purchase a large amount of fuel to receive a 20% discount and to keep it for the whole season.
Gayane hopes for lenders' support.
