Sinat is 38 years old and a married father blessed with three little children. To tackle with his family hardship, he does rice cropping on four hectares area and produces concrete pipe for resale. He has engaged in his current business for six years. This is the first microloan for Sinat with VisionFund (Kiva’s Field Partner). He is seeking a new loan to buy herbicide for his farmland. Moreover, he will use a portion of this loan to buy materials to make more concrete pipe including cement, sand etc. He hopes to gain a good income from his business so he can set aside some money to send his kids to school.

Kiva lenders’ funds will help the organization to expand into the northeastern provinces of the country, which have historically been underserved and difficult to reach with financial services.
