Mirsad
Mirsad is a 26-year-old married father of a daughter and son, ages 1 and 4 years old. Mirsad works repairing and replacing windows and doors and his wife makes handicrafts. Together the money they generate is not enough to support their family and complete the plastering on the house that is needed. For the first time, Mirsad is requesting a loan in order to plaster the rooms of the house.

This loan will be of great help to him since without it, he would not be able to manage completing these improvements. In the future, Mirsad hopes to improve the living conditions of his family and reach his goal which is to give his family a sustainable future. He and his family are very thankful to all Kiva lenders for their support!

About Housing Loans

Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
