Haleema baji has been living in this area for the last 25 years. She has one son. Her husband is a street-side medic. Her son is a medical rep in a clinic. She is a housewife and prefers to do household works. She successfully repaid her two loans from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now, she is applying for a loan for her son who wants to buy medicines to start his own medical shop.


She is joined in her loan group by a few more members. Rashida baji wants a loan to buy more cloth to resell. Shamim baji wants a loan to buy electric supplies for her electric shop. Nazia baji wants a loan to buy milk for her milk-selling business. Saddaqat Begum baji wants a loan to buy cloth for her cloth business.
