Asel is a student at AUCA. This is her story:

My name is Asel. I live in a family of five: my parents, two siblings and myself. My father had his own business, but due to some problems, he closed it. My mother is pursuing her second higher education degree at Bishkek Medical College and also works there, in a part-time job. Now we also have a loan, which was taken to buy a house for us.

All the above-mentioned made it necessary for me to apply for financial aid, to be able to get quality education at the American University of Central Asia. I plan to become a professional in the field of Business Administration. To study at AUCA is one of my dreams, and I hope I will be lucky enough to get funded. For this reason I am applying for a KIVA loan, so that it would be easier to cover my tuition at AUCA.

I will do my best to be a role model student of AUCA and play an active role in AUCA social life. The knowledge that I will get at AUCA will definitely give me a chance to make a significant contribution to the development of my region and my entire country.
