Her short-term plan is to increase the volume of coffee production, which will bring more income to her family. That way, she can support her child in their studies, and continue to form an endowment for their welfare in the future.

Josefa tiene una edad de 27 años en una relación en unión libre y madre de un hijo con un grado de educación secundario completo el cual pudo cursar gracias al apoyo económico brindado por sus padres. En compañía de su pareja se dedica a la agricultura siendo su especialidad el cultivo de café rubro que en su familia por muchos años ha generado la economía para mantener y cubrir las diferentes necesidades del hogar. Fueron sus padres los que le enseñaron a trabajar la tierra a muy temprana edad ya que en su familia el rubro de la agricultura especialmente el cultivo de café es una tradición.

Ella ha decidido inyectarle un poco de capital a sus cultivos de café por medio de un financiamiento que ha solicitado a la cooperativa COMIXMUL para la compra de 12 QQ de fertilizante, 12 QQ de urea y 10 QQ de formula cafetalera que protegerán su cosecha de los cambios climáticos, plagas entre otros.

Sus planes a corto plazo es lograr incrementar el volumen de producción de café el cual pueda traer más ingresos para su familia ya que de esa forma ella podrá apoyar a su hijo con sus estudios y seguir formando un patrimonio para su bienestar en el futuro.

These loans are designed for female farmers who produce a variety of products (onion, garlic, eggplant, spinach, mango, strawberries, etc.). Loan terms will vary depending on need, and borrowers can choose to make a "bullet" payment timed with harvest profits. Agricultural loans are considered risky in Honduras due to external forces like unpredictable weather and worldwide crop prices. As a result, many traditional financial institutions are unwilling to offer these loans.
