Makay is 33 years old and married with three children, ages 4 years, 7 years and 12 years. She runs a clothing business in Rokupr, the northern area in Sierra Leone.
She's been in this business for five years and sells wax cotton and jeans. She says that the main challenge to her business is slow purchasing power during rainy season.
Makay requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to buy more wax cotton and jeans for resale. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her support her children and take care of her family. In the future, she would like to open a big shop. She is grateful for your support.
