Doña Leda tiene un grado de educación primario no culminado cursado hasta el segundo grado de primaria ya que sus padres no pudieron apoyarla para que ella pudiese completar sus estudios y es por ello que diariamente en compañía de su compañero de hogar trabajan muy duro diariamente para que sus hijos tengan mejores oportunidades en el futuro. Ella es agricultora se dedica a la siembra y cultivo de granos básicos como maíz y frijoles siendo sus clientes las bodegas, pulpería, vecinos y personas que llegan como intermediarios a la zona para la adquisición del producto al final de cada cosecha. Ella es madre de 3 hijos los cuales estudian en diferentes grados de educación en la primaria y al salir de sus actividades escolares ayudan a sus padres en algunas actividades del campo como limpieza y recolección del grano.

Ella ha solicitado un financiamiento a la cooperativa COMIXMUL para la compra de 40 libras de semilla de maíz certificada para su cultivo y 30 libras de semilla certificada de frijol, 15 QQ de fórmula 18-46-0 y 15 QQ de urea.

Los planes a futuro son los de mejorar su vivienda ya que necesita algunas reparaciones básicas para hacerla más habitable y evitar la humedad, como también poder cultivar café ya que es atractivo y competitivo en el mercado de esa forma ella podrá generar más ingresos y cumplir sus metas.
