Her plans for the future are to be able to cultivate more coffee, since they own their land and it is favorable for growing coffee in this climate and this area. Her dream is to be able to give her children a good education, so that they will have many options and opportunities in life.

Doña Melitina tiene una edad de 41 años es agricultora y ama de casa madre de 6 hijos los cuales viven con ella y su esposo. Tiene un grado de educación primaria incompleto el cual pudo cursar hasta el 3 grado ya que sus padres eran de escasos recursos económicos y la distribución de sus ingresos era limitada la cual alcanzaba en ocasiones para lo básico (alimentación, vestimenta, etc.). Ella en compañía de su esposo el cual trabaja como guardia de seguridad en una empresa se dedican a la siembra y cultivo de café ya hace varios años siendo este uno de sus ingresos económicos a parte del salario de su esposo para el sustento de su familia. El grano al final de la cosecha es vendido a los diferentes intermediarios y bodegas de la zona.

Ella solicita un financiamiento a la cooperativa COMIXMUL con el cual comprara 6 QQ de nutrí café, 10 litros de foliar, 8 QQ de fórmula 18-46-0 y 6 QQ de urea para proteger y abonar sus cultivos ya que al final de la cosecha espera obtener buenos ingresos.

Sus planes a futuro son los de poder cultivar más café ya que la tierra que ellos tienen es propia y apta por su clima localidad y mantenimiento para el mismo. Su sueño es poder darles a sus hijos una buena educación para que tenga muchas opciones y oportunidades en la vida.
