Victoria Marcelina
Victoria is 44 years old, married, and has an elementary school education. She lives in Tiraque and has two children who depend on her for support. Victoria’s main business consists of farming, where she produces an annual average of: 90 bushels of potatoes, 70 bushes of green beans, 50 bushels of peas, 20 quintals or wheat grain, 12 quintals of ochre, and two truckloads of peas. She plants on her own 3 hectares of farmland located in her community, and also on other land that her parents gave her. Most of the land has pine and eucalyptus trees on it and part of it is farmland where she raises wheat and oats. There is irrigation on the land and she harvests with the help of farm workers to whom she pays Bs. 50. She lives in a rustic adobe house and needs this loan to buy potato seeds. Once harvested, she will improve her income and quality of life for her dependents.

La señora Victoria, es una persona de 44 años de edad, de estado civil casada, alcanzo a estudiar hasta la primaria, vive en su propia casa en la comunidad de Tiraque y tiene dos dependientes económicos a su cargo que son sus hijos, la actividad principal a que se dedica la señora Victoria es la agricultura, produce los siguientes productos en promedio anual y en las cantidades siguientes: Papa 90 cargas, Haba (verde) 70 cargas, Arveja (verde) 50 cargas, Trigo (grano) 20 quintales, Oca 12 quintales y Avena (forrajera) 2 camiones. La siembra de estos cultivos lo realiza en sus propios terrenos en una superficie de 3 Hectáreas que tiene en la misma comunidad donde vive y los otros terrenos que tiene son herencia de sus padres, la mayor parte de esos terrenos están con plantaciones de pinos y eucaliptos y una porción de esos terrenos son agrícolas donde siembra el trigo y la avena, los terrenos cuentan con riego, por otro lado en época de siembra y cosecha lo realiza con la colaboración de trabajadores eventuales a los que les cancela el jornal trabajado a Bs. 50. Vive en una casa rustica de adobe, con este préstamo que realiza es para capital de operación para comprar semilla de papa, una vez cosechada mejorara sus ingresos y de igual manera la calidad de vida de sus dependientes.
