Layhieng is 50 years old, married and lives with her three children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been selling pure drinking water for more than ten years, earning approximately $4 per day. Three of her children are employed. They earn about $14 each day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Layhieng is requesting a loan for $1,000 to buy a camera to run a photography service. This will allow her to generate more income for her family. In the future, she would like to build a new house to provide better living conditions for her family.
