This group is made up of eleven members and is run by a board of directors, of which Tomasa is president. The members' businesses are varied and include making jackets, making macrame products, a grocery store, making sweaters using a machine, selling vegetables, making sachets, selling plastic, and selling clothing.

This loan will benefit small business owners such as Tomasa. She says that she joined Pro Mujer three years ago by invitation from a friend, who is a member of the institution and told her about their work. She currently has a business making macrame products. She started her business several years ago to support her parents. Afterwards, when she was in a relationship, she decided to establish her own workplace along with her partner.

She will use this loan to increase her working capital by buying wool from wholesale stores in the city of El Alto. After making her products, she will sell them from her workplace. This work allows her to generate an income to maintain her household as much as possible, since she is in a common-law marriage with two children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responded that she likes the savings and the training.

La A.C. “AMIGAS X SIEMPRE” iniciará el quinto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Alto Lima, está compuesta por once integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Tomasa es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: confección de chamarras, tejido a macramé, tienda de abarrotes, tejido de chompas a máquina, venta de verduras, producción de sachet’s, venta de plásticos, venta de ropa.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Tomasa es integrante, ella indica que hace tres años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación una amiga que es socia de la institución y le hablo del trabajo que se realiza. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de tejido a macramé; este negocio lo emprendió hace varios años atrás, al realizar apoyo a su padres, posteriormente a tener su pareja decide establecer su propio espacio de trabajo conjuntamente su pareja.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de lana) que adquirirá de las tiendas mayoristas de la ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará en su puesto fijo. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella vive en unión libre y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el ahorro que se realiza y las capacitaciones.
